If you are a citizen of a country outside North America, you may need to apply for a visa to attend CATE 2026. A visa is a permit to enter a country and stay for less than 90 days. All attendees are highly recommended to ensure they have the correct visas and passport to travel to the CATE 2026 conference.
Please visit U.S. Visas for pertinent information on the types of visas required to enter the country. For a range of countries, a visa waiver program exists and you can travel to the US after registering via ESTA. ESTA authorizations are typically valid for two years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first.
Once you have registered and made the payment, please complete this form to request an invitation letter for your visa application. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@cate2026.org.
It is advisable for all participants to have health and travel insurance, as these are their sole responsibility.
Conference participation is permitted under the same Visa Waiver Program that covers tourism. To ensure smooth entry process, the CATE 2026 committee recommends:
bringing your conference registration confirmation,
having the conference venue address and contact information readily available, and
being prepared to explain the professional nature of your visit.
