Academics, practioners, policymakers, building industry professionals, health researchers and beyond! If you have a research-based point of view on thermal comfort, you should submit your work to CATE 2026.
CATE 2026 invites you to submit original work aligned with one of the event's three themes.
There are five different categories for contributions to CATE 2026.
If you are interested in contributing to CATE 2026, the first step is to submit a short abstract of no more than 250 words. Craft the abstract using the instructions in the abstract template, then head to the CATE 2026 ConfTool site, register a new account, and submit the abstract for review.
Purpose. Abstracts describe original works that will be completed by the time of the conference and are intended to contribute to ongoing and structured scholarly discourse in the field.
Format. Abstracts must follow the CATE 2026 template and be no more than 250 words.
Review. The committee will provide notice of abstract acceptance and may provide feedback.
Sharing. Abstracts are primarily for review purposes, but may be used with attribution by the conference organizers on the website or in other CATE 2026 communications efforts.
Abstract submissions are limited to one per lead author. Accepted contributions must be presented in person by the lead author.
